Hidden Wineries May 2004 Newsletter
Thank you for your wonderful response providing recipes for the Hidden Wineries Cookbook and for your support of the
Hidden Wineries of Southern California book. These two books will ensconce the names of your wineries in the homes of
discerning wine patrons nationwide, for years to come.
Hidden Wineries of Southern California is a major step in educating the wine-loving public on the existence of award-winning wineries, here in
Southern California. The Hidden Wineries™ book is an elegant, enduring reminder of the quality wineries located in this region.
When we work together synergistically, we accomplish more than when we struggle individually. More and more wineries are realizing the value of signing up and
pre-ordering books; you don't want to be left out (the cut-off date is May 31st). Please contact MaDonna White at (909) 699-3035.
Milestones
- April/May Hidden Wineries has contracted with a design company to finalize the book layout in 2004 preparation for printing.
- Thousands of dollars have been received in pre-order book sales. These funds are secured in an escrow account for the sole purpose of paying for the printing of Hidden Wineries of Southern California - by Christmas of 2004.
- Thirty recipes have been received so far for the Cookbook, due out in 2005. That's more than half of what we need! But, we could use more dessert, salad and appetizer recipes.
If you have a recipe(s) you would like to contribute, please e-mail it to DeAnne White, our recipe editor, at chef@gohomefordinner.com or fax it to her at (503) 722-9456. All recipe sources (chefs, restaurants, wineries) will be acknowledged in the cookbook.
